Terms and Conditions:
The following specific terms and conditions governs the participation in the VISA / Hi-Lo “Use and Win” Promotional Campaign executed in Jamaica from August 24th 2019 – October 19th 2019. All elements specified under these Terms and Conditions shall be enforced during the promotional period. By participating in this promotion, Visa Inc and Hi-Lo Food Stores agree to be bound by these and promotional specific Terms and Conditions outlined.
1-VISA and Hi-Lo Food Stores retain the right to restrict who may enter this promotion for any reason within absolute discretion.
2- Participants, whether individually or acting in a group, will be found to be in breach of these promotional specific terms if Visa or Hi-Lo Food Stores at their discretion, has reason to believe that the promotion has been abused, manipulated, or that irregular, fraudulent, collusive or illegal activity has occurred.
3- By participating in the Visa/ Hi-Lo Use and win promotion, participants consent to the use of their name, screen-name, image, photographs, given social media name and geographical location for advertising, promotional and news purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
4- The decision of VISA and Hi-Lo Food Stores in all promotional matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. VISA Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores reserve the right to withhold promotional benefits until resolution of any dispute.
5- Events may occur that result in VISA Inc. and/or Hi-Lo Food Stores extending, refusing, reclaiming, cancelling, terminating, modifying or suspending the promotion, these terms and/or the awarding of prize(s) at any point and for any reason. These may be due to a third party's illegal activity, technical difficulties and/or any other reasons beyond the control of VISA Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores and accordingly the entrant agrees that VISA Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores shall have no liability as a result thereof.
6- VISA Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores disclaim any liability for inaccurate information, whether caused by the website, user's equipment used in a promotion, or by human or technical errors related to the submission of entries.
7- VISA/Hi-Lo Food Stores and its agents accept no responsibility for the failure of any third parties to fulfill their contractual obligations in relation to this promotion.
Eligibility:
1- All participants are entered into the competition through the use of their VISA Credit Card spending $3,000.00 incl GCT (JMD) and over at any of the 14 Hi-Lo Food Stores locations.
2- All participants must be 18 years and over and must be able to produce one form of valid Identification upon request.
3- All participants must be Citizens or Legal Residents of Jamaica.
4- Employees of VISA Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores, and any advertising agency or web company connected with the promotion or any such person's subsidiary or associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to participate in this promotion. VISA Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all participants.

Methodology:
1- Customers spending JMD$3,000.00 (incl GCT) and over at any Hi-Lo location will be given a form attached to their receipt to enter their name and contact details.
2- This form and receipt will be placed into an entry box, located at all locations.
3- Weekly winners will be pulled from this box. Weekly winners will be reentered into the box for a chance at the grand prize draw.
4- The Grand prize winner will be pulled from this box, the first qualifying entry drawn will be declared the winner.
Notification to Winners:
1- For weekly winners, after each weekly drawing has taken place, a Hi-Lo Food Store representative will contact the winner by phone via the telephone number provided on the entry form.
2- Each weekly draw will take place every Friday from August 30th 2019 – October 18th 2019.
3- For the Grand Prize draw, after the drawing has taken place a Hi-Lo Food Store representative will contact the winner by phone via the telephone number provided on the entry form.
4- After successfully contacting the winners, Visa Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores will also announce the winners and prizes in the press and on their official websites visa.com.jm, www.hilofoodstoresja.com, and www.facebook.com/hilofoodstoresja.
5- Hi-Lo will attempt to reach each winner selected by phone 3 times within a 24 hour period. If the winner is not able to be reached, Hi-Lo Food Stores will contact the “back-up” winner from the additional set of names drawn.
6- After being contacted or announced, the winners must present a current picture ID (Driver’s License, Passport or National ID) to claim their prize personally.
7- Visa Inc. or Hi-lo Food Stores will not be obligated to investigate the reason/s why the winner did not respond to the calls made to the phone number included on the entry receipt, or why the winner did not show up to claim the prize.
8- Each winner must sign an eligibility declaration (stating that he/she meets all eligibility requirements), a release of all liabilities, and a permission to allow publishing their information. This must be filled out, signed and submitted before the final prizes can be claimed. If the winner refuses to sign, he/she will be disqualified.
9- If the winners could not be reached, fails to claim the prize during the prescribed periods, does not accept the prize or any of the conditions to claim it, or does not sign the document previously outlined, the prize will be declared rejected and cannot be claimed again. The winner will not be compensated whether partially or totally. Unclaimed prizes remain the property of Visa Inc. and Hi-Lo Food Stores.
10- Visa Inc. or Hi-Lo Food Stores will not be responsible for the delivery of the gifts to winners. Winners are solely responsible for making their own pick-up and delivery arrangements.

1- This promotion will be supported by print, radio & television placements, along with instore banding material.
